The Usafi Mtaani Project is a collaborative effort with communities, providing professional garbage collection services to maintain a clean environment for households and businesses alike. Our services include scheduled collections and the provision of waste bins or eco-friendly garbage bags for proper waste management. Our Give Back initiative aims to bring joy to those in need by providing essential items such as clothes, shoes, food, and electronics. Since its inception in 2016, this project has positively impacted over 1,000 individuals in need. We believe in the power of giving back to our community, enriching lives and spreading warmth and kindness.
Trash2Cash is a transformative program that empowers youth by engaging them in recycling waste materials like wood, paper, and specific plastics. These materials are skillfully crafted into decorative artifacts such as wildlife sculptures and wall hangings. To date, over 100 young individuals have benefited from this initiative, gaining a sustainable source of livelihood. We are proud to support economic empowerment and creativity among our youth through environmentally conscious practices.
The “Mti Yangu Challenge”; addresses the pressing issue of deforestation in Kenya, where 52,000 hectares of forest are lost annually. This unsustainable practice affects water availability, air quality, soil erosion, agriculture, biodiversity, and local weather patterns. Greenbelt Life Afrika has launched this campaign to plant 1 million trees in Kenya by 2024. Participants are encouraged to take environmental responsibility by planting trees on their birthdays based on their age. The campaign is promoted through online, on-ground, and on-air platforms, aiming to create awareness and foster sustainable environmental practices.
